I spent six years running travel and expense operations at the University of Iceland. The work covered approximately DKK 15 million and more than 9,000 transactions a year, with responsibility between finance and IT.
I founded JE Advisory in 2026 to help finance teams apply AI to recurring work where the value, exceptions, and control requirements can be made clear.

A monthly reconciliation went from 30 hours to 30 minutes.
I rebuilt the process using ERP exports, Power Query, and controlled Excel matching. The team could spend its time reviewing exceptions rather than rebuilding the same reconciliation every month.

My working background includes accounting operations, Oracle E-Business Suite, Excel, Power Query, Office Scripts, process design, automation, and current AI tools. I use that range to decide where AI belongs in the workflow and how the team should review its work.
The aim is a process a named operator can run, understand, and escalate. The technology has to fit the finance environment around it.
